ABOUT

I'm Thrishala Gunathunga, a recent BSc Psychology graduate from the University of West London (UWL), UK. I am currently working as a Junior Psychological Counselor at Waves of Transformation (WoT), Colombo, Sri Lanka.

 

My previous experiences include working as a Trainee Psychological Counselor at University Hospital KDU, Sri Lanka, and as an Associate Psychologist Intern at MJF Charitable Foundation by Dilmah, Sri Lanka.

My journey in psychology has been nothing short of thrilling – I've developed a profound interest in clinical psychology, child psychology (with focus on special needs education), neuropsychology, and trauma counseling.

 

I'm an avid blogger and Instagrammer on a mission to spread awareness about mental health, particularly in Sri Lanka. It's a cause close to my heart, and I'm committed to using my platform to make a positive impact in people's lives.
